Characters: Antonin and Tonks
Location: Antonin's home (1 Dippet Drive)
Summary: With a job mostly in place, Dora goes for the second bit: training.
She was doing this all backwards. There was an order to things. She was destroying it. Rightly, it would have gone as such: Talk to Remus about life changing and significant decision, find a replacement professor, write lesson plans for said professor, talk to mum about previously mentioned life changing and significant decision, go speak with Antonin Dolohov to make sure that extra training for said decision would be available, and then, finally, speak with Percy when finally ready to set the aforementioned decision in stone. Well, she'd already done the last on the list, and now she was moving onto the second to last. Might as well do the entire bloody thing backwards, then. It was her way.
After her meeting with Percy Weasley, Dora was rather firmly back in the mindset that simply being herself was the best way to go about things. Well, the meeting and the fact that she'd not been able to find clean socks that morning. When she walked up Dippet Drive to the Dolohov home she looked quite like herself. Pink and green hair, loose robes with more comfortable things underneath, a knitted cap on her head, and her usual messily laced boots. The only difference one might have noticed were her extremely careful steps as she walked up the front pathway to the house. She remembered, vividly, Antonin being quite unimpressed with her inability to walk up the front walk without falling all over herself. Putting some effort into watching where her feet were going made it a tiny bit better. Certainly nowhere near perfect, but it was a start.
With pleseant face in place, Dora reached up to knock on the door. She'd not owled beforehand and it occurred to her that perhaps she should have, but it was late enough in the evening that she simply assumed it qualified within the times the older man had told her it was alright to drop by. She figured that if he didn't want her around, it was likely he would simply say so. He struck her as the rather direct sort, she decided as she knocked on the door once more.
