Oliver shook his head as she missed the quaffle. "It was not a bad throw!" He protested teasingly. "It was a perfect throw. Quidditch gods don't make bad throws!" Wood laughed.
Wood listened intently as she explained how the bats and bludgers worked. "That's some impressive magic."
His eyes were focused on her face and hair - her excitement made her look even better - if that was possible. He was so distracted that he didn't see the bludger coming and it hit him in his head.
"Ow!" He wasn't sure why he said it, it didn't really hurt. Maybe he only expected it would. "And here I thought with the league gone I was done being hit by bludgers."
