Summary: Cass and Percy has some time at home
Sundays were supposed to be lazy days when you did nothing but nursed a hangover or go flying and play Quidditch. At least that was what Cass was used to, which was why the idea of Percy going to the office was one he wasn't overly fond of, though he knew better than to say anything. With Percy well again he knew he had a lot of catching up to do – especially with there being such a shortage of Aurors. It didn't mean he had to actually like not spending the entire day in bed, naked, talking or reading in between doing a lot more than they had so far.
He still had hopes for Percy coming home fairly early though. So he'd lazed about, played with Plato, flown over to Susan's and spent some time with her (making her cook lunch for him so he could bring some home for Percy and him later). Now he was reading one of Percy's books (as all his own was already read more than once), lying on the sofa with Plato curled up next to him while he waited. It wasn't such a bad Sunday activity. And if Percy didn't come home soon he could always go flying – on his own or with Natalie or Harry or Higgs. Well maybe not Higgs – that would lead to a lot of explaining he wasn't quite ready to do yet. At least Harry had Pansy so there wouldn't be a need to discuss anything and with Natalie he really hoped the discussion was finished.
For now though, he was rather content to lie here, reading, that was until he heard the door. Watching Plato jump down and rush to greet Percy, he smiled and placed the book on the coffee table, waiting for Percy to come in.
'Hey, there,' he said with a smile, getting up from the sofa. 'Did you get everything you needed done?'
