Percy rested his elbow on the arm rest and propped his head on his head while he looked at her. Was she this stupid? Or worse did she think he was that stupid? He knew very well where their loyalties laid. Dumbledore had taught them to stay on leash and now McGonagall was the one walking them around.
"Really? You needed another person to tell you we were short-handed, how... not perceptive of you. I always thought that Aurors knew how to pay attention to the little clues, let alone to the obvious," he said straightening up.
"As much as it pains me to say it, your abilities make you rather special, however I will not have people coming and going as they please, and certainly not being they are 'itching' to do something different," he continued. "How long is this going to last, huh? Another few months? Until you get the 'itch' to go back to school? I'd rather not have you here at all, then have to rearrange all the schedules until something else strikes your fancy."
