"I didn't say any of them were unfeeling monsters." Harry shot back, beginning to feel angry. "If I thought that I wouldn't turn to you or Malfoy for help. I wouldn't have moved in with Pansy. I wouldn't have warned Malfoy when an Order member came to me all concerned about Bletchley so that Malfoy could warn him. Fuck I think I look past houses more than you do half the time." Harry told him, wanting to yell but keeping his voice at the same volume because of Faustus, he didn't know if Severus had silencing charms around the room.
When he heard Severus tell him he had done his job his shoulders slumped again in defeat. "It was supposed to end when he died." Harry said quietly. "It was supposed to end and be over." He made a noise that sounded like a crazed laugh, "Hells before I killed him I thought I wanted to be an Auror, now I just never want to fight again."
He paused for a second and sighed but didn't speak. He had almost told Severus that sometimes he wished Voldemort was still alive, that at least then he had hope that one day the fighting would be over. Given the hell Voldemort had put Severus through Harry wasn't about to say that to him.
