Percy didn't think so. This wasn't a choice that Cass would have ever made if Percy hadn't insisted, but he didn't repeat it, instead he listened silently, taking in everything that Cass was saying.
"You shouldn't be afraid, and you won't screw up, Cass. There's no reason to screw." No, he was more worried about Cass coming to the realization that he couldn't live with Percy and Percy wouldn't even blame him, but he couldn't give him the way out.
He rested his forehead against Cass', while he brushed Cass' face with his fingertips. "What exactly do you want to do? Tell me," he whispered, knowing just how wrong this was and how his mother would be rolling in her grave if she knew, but not stopping despite everything.
