He just got up the way he normally did, casually and without any rush. No quick movements. Nothing out of the ordinary. He rolled out of bed with another stretch, and then put his large cot back into order.
When he made his way over to the table, he gave her plenty of room, stopping briefly only to press a kiss to the top of her hair. "Good morning," he offered, and then dropped into a seat across from her. Where she could watch him, and not look quite so concerned. "I meant that question, Gen. How do you feel? You and Kenzie had quite a lot to drink last night. Are you feeling it this morning?"
