Fen snorted. “I, for once, had nothing to do with our little group’s problems. And I’m sure he’ll see you tomorrow.” He wasn’t sure about that, but like Kenzie he preferred to stay positive. “Keep in mind though that A’ver is probably happier right now then he’s been all year. He might be wearing your man out.”
He shook his head and leaned back in his chair. “I’m glad K’rin was around long enough to get us ready for graduation. And I am very glad that graduation is coming up soon. I don’t think I can take much more of S’bor and it’s only been a day.” He quirked his lips and snorted. Lyrra hadn’t taken to this regime change well at all. S’bor had permitted her to rejoin the wing and train, but he’d spent all day drilling them in basic maneuvers that had some riders throwing the girl harsh looks.
“I can always give you a lift up to his weyr if you’d like.” Fen wasn’t sure the blur rider would appreciate the invasion, but he felt like he had to help somehow. Kenzie was trying hard to stay positive but her expression kept falling. Between her and Lyrra he wasn’t so sure he would be getting a lot of rest that night. Hopefully tomorrow would be a brighter day for them all.
