Grinning, Kenzie sank into the kiss, sliding her fingers into his dark hair. Better. Much better. He did talk about work an awful lot, but he was improving. At least, she considered kissing an improvement. Then again anything might have seemed like an improvement after such a horrible day. When he lifted his head, she lowered one of her hands and traced the curve of his jaw affectionately. "I've heard that about you somewhere. That you're very charming. Obviously together we should conquer the Weyr." Then he moved, and she snuggled close to him, drawing his furs up over both of them.
"Tomorrow. For both conquering and possibilities. I don't have the energy for either one, tonight." At the idea of wine, she paused, considering. "Because... we're both horribly overworked. Maybe we could send the flitters. Do you think between the two of them, they could steal a skin of wine from the kitchen? They're friends, they can work together..."
