I think I'm just going to give up on even trying to make sense out of whatever's happening here in favour of something more important, like looking at runway pictures from the Emmys and wondering if I could pull off Viola Davis' dress. (Literally. Figuratively. Pick whichever entertains you more.)

Also, come and eat food with us. We have a lot.

	The Emmy Awards. They're for television - awards for the best shows, best acting, best directing, etc. I don't watch much tv, but I love seeing what they're wearing. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I haven't tried to watch the television since getting here. But I have played a lot of video games with Cassie and Marco. I wouldn't really know where to begin. There are too many channels. Those clothes are pretty, though. But what do they do with the dresses and suits after the ceremony is done? Do you just wear it for one night? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I can only watch them with captioning, which is a lot of reading. Means I can't doing anything else at the same time.

Usually they actually come from a designer who wants their work to get seen. Then they get sent back afterwards. The media has a tendency to harp if they see people wearing the same outfit too many times, which is why I could never be famous. Some of my dresses are almost like old friends.

	That could get annoying. I can understand seeing the clothes as art. But they can't wear it more than once? Fabric was always something that was rationed on the Ark. I can't imagine tossing out a dress because you wore it once. But it was also why my mom and I could stay busy mending them all. If they are like old friends, then you're doing it right. 	Well I always love a good red dress. Taraji Henson was stunning too, though I'm not sure what Claire Danes or Heidi Klum were thinking. Heidi looked like someone had skinned Big Bird.
