I did the casting of the runestones for you. In this building, it is sometimes hard to get good reading. But you should be watching for the full moon, this is when I think the magics will be upset again. Perhaps you should be warning Iris and Eliot? But I can be telling them as well. I am thinking it might be for the best to be warning people publicly, da? I can do this.

We have not been talking much since you have come for the fortune. But the yesterday, I was casting for a friend, and I was seeing something that may be affecting you. There will be a full moon with the magics again.

Now that we're friends, what's the deal with this whole fucking biting thing. Am I vampire? You know how embarrassing that is? Everyone will think I'm hot for R Pat -- which I'm fucking not, ew, the man is a giant ball of unshowered -- or that I'm, like, stuck in the '80s.

Are there any academics here? Or researchers or people who work at museums or libraries or things? Or who are really really really good at the internet? I need some research help. Not for, like, homework or anything, but for a personal project. Nothing serious -- well, it's serious for me -- but not, like, you know, cancer research or anything like that.

We have decided that it would benefit all tenants to know the tales living under our roof. I was under the impression that that was what soap operas were for. Well then, in that case, turn off the computer, send the kids to bed, and settle in with some bon bons and the lifetime channel. Apparently, I'm supposed to fucking be grateful because you fucking showed up or some shit like that, so thanks. I'm glad you're not a fucking sell-out paparazzi perv.

With the holiday season reaching its sugar-infested end, I figured it was high time I shared the fruits of my student loans with all of you in an attempt to spread good will and cheer throughout the building. It’s the time of year when people are just starting to realize that the world isn’t going to be cold and dead forever, that everything is coming back to life, that the insects are re-infesting the walls, and that mistakes made in winter are now coming to fruition. It’s also a time of deep spiritual thought, though that doesn’t usually last for more than a month or so, and people tend to be more worried than usual about the state of their selves after death. What follows is an extremely brief but nonetheless valuable history of a subject near and dear to all our hearts, that has influenced people over the ages, is a massive portion of our current culture, and is steeped in history.

i've been talked into asked to looking into and compiling a history of this building. i know some of you have been here for a while, so if you know or have heard of anything, feel free to drop me a line.

i also know that i'm not the only one doing research on the place. collaboration is an option.

Has anyone made an effort to research what happened? Find significance in the day it happened on, look for any evidence that this has happened before, check the news for anything significant on the building? If not, it might be a worthwhile endeavor.

i take it that this is the building wide forum i was told about. don't want to be called an antisocial neighbor, so here is the obligatory: the name's eliot, i live in 706, am was am a private investigator and probably won't be leaving my apartment much. i'm going to be working from home for a while, so don't be alarmed if you see my clients coming in and out. you've been warned, so don't come complaining

and another note: i can get pretty pre-occupied with my work, so it might take me a while to get familiar with every one who lives here. it's nothing personal.
