FYI...In honor of Halloween (and because I like the eerie fantasies), I'm going to post challenges of a supernatural or holiday themed this month

today's "daily prompt" is...

authors choice #195 - Shadows/Shadowland - any pairing - any length:

Write a story, ficlet, drabble, snippet, slice of life [or a series of stories] around this theme. Go to the extreme on this.

1. Your character finds him/herself in a strange land of lost souls and forgotten dreams. A place where creatures of myth and legend go when they are no longer believed in. A place were love is not ended by death.
2. Something is stalking your character. Something that lives in the shadows.
3. Don't let the shadows touch you. If they do...
4. Or....Go off in a direction all your own...Let the prompt infect you & carry you to greater heights of creativity.
