Episode 1x01: The Gathering

Immortal Duncan McLeod is maintaining a peaceful existence with the love of this life, Tessa Noel when he is challenged to Immortal combat by Slan Quince, an evil Immortal. An old friend and clansman, Connor MacLeod, comes to try and convince Duncan to once more join the fray in the battle of Good versus Evil. Duncan also meets Richie Ryan, a kid from the streets whom he befriends after catching him breaking into his antique store.

I took the pictures first then review through. I had something before but accidentally erased it. But I will mention a few things: I remembered Queen, but forgot Duncan's voice which made me laugh hearing him say that there can be only one. What! It was funny. I forgot that Richie was in this episode, I could of swore that he was introduced later, however the one thing I truly remember is "Bull" from Night Court was in this episode. He must of finished Night Court and went to Canada to get work because he also appears in an a episode of Due South a couple years later. Boy, now that I look back the nineties shows were weird. This steamy scene was steamy and you can tell there is nothing between Tessa and her Duncans ...


Ah it wasn't Richie's head that Duncan wanted, it appears somone else want Duncan's more ...


There's a pic of Slan but I didn't like the Mask so instead you see Connor, pretty Connor ...


What Connor in close up and smiling, lovely ...


Oh Richie saw something he wasn't supposed to see, he left but got caught by the cops with the goods. Duncan comes into the station and give Richie a warning to not say anything. Richie's no fool ...


When this originally aired, it was Tessa's birthday as you can see so has anybody used that in a story. Pretty bracelet. I also notice in this episode Tessa wears very little clothing, men ...


I still get an odd look on my face if I see Richard Moll with hair. He so ingrained in my brain as bald it's just odd. I remembered him saying that he shaved to keep his Bull in character every week, I think but it works ...


This is what I call a peekaboo and of course Connor smiling again so of course, happy ...


The brotherly bonding, *sniffle* I love it ...


Okay, are you telling me no one bothered to trim the man's eyebrows. I mean no brows should be that full, of course this is before the metrosexual ...


This was sad and I wanted to know if this is Little Dear, it has been so long since I seen this or did I get this wrong ...


And now introducing Connor in his stylish beige trench-coat ...


When Slan gets slash, I started laughing *shrug* I don't know why but I did. Could've been the overacting involved ...


Oh that was a dirty trick Slan played on Connor though he did kind of leave himself open to get stabbed ...


Slan's head is no more. I took a picture because the special effects are brillant, no they aren't but it's fun to watch ...


Hmm, mmm I bet you Richie wish he wasn't so nosy ...


Duncan, quickening and nineties special effects. Ah joy ...


Connor listened as Duncan said he was leaving Tessa after 12 years but Connor thought Duncan didn't know what was best for him ...


Connor smiling, what! ...


Seeing this was like he was passing on not the legacy but the highlander show to the new guy. My opinion ...
