Brendan didn't know what to do about Carson. He cared about the man, but he could also tell William was starting to feel strained and it wasn't something he wanted in his relationship. They had had enough strain to last a lifetime, frankly, and Brendan had to fix it.
He came into the bedroom, smiling at the sight of William and Trinket, and plopped down on the bed, looking at his lover.
