What Brendan needs to talk with Carson

So, Brendan would admit that he had noticed that Carson did have some sort of affection towards him, but a crush? Ever since William had brought it up, Brendan had been thinking about it, taking not of things Carson did, said, etc.. And it would add up to crush if it wasn't Carson, really, but Brendan just had his doubts. The man just wanted affection, and Brendan gave it, and they were friends.

Right?

Brendan walked into the house with a whistle, knowing he had to talk to Carson today about it, or he'd burst. So, pulling off his coat, he called to the man.

"Carson, babe? You home?"

Carson was on the floor in the living room, playing tug o' war with Trinket who was growling playfully, one end of a pair of tied together socks firmly in her mouth. However when she heard Brendan's voice she dropped the sock and immediately scampered into the front room, tail wagging as she yipped and jumped up to put her paws up on Brendan's leg.

"I'm in the living room." Carson called out, offering the sock to Sparky who just looked at him as skeptically as a dog could.

	Trinket followed Brendan back into the room and then pounced on the sock again, growling as Carson picked up playing tug o' war again with her. He glanced at Brendan and shrugged a little. Carson had been better since he'd been allowed to stay with Brendan and William. They made him feel safe. Smiling a little he glanced at Trinket. "I'm alright. You?" "I'm good. Good. Had a busy day," He said as he settled back, crossing his legs, trying to figure out how to bring up the topic of the day.

"Well. Actually," He cleared his throat and looked at Carson, to see his reaction, "I was actually thinking about you. More specifically about...Well, you and me, big guy," He put his elbow on the arm rest, his head resting on his hand.

That phrasing threw Carson a bit off guard. His cheeks colored a little bit and so many different things rushed through his mind. Was Brendan going to ask him to leave? To stop being his friend? Or was this conversation going to take a whole different turn? Really Carson wasn't sure.

"Oh?" He looked away from the game he was playing with the puppy to glance at Brendan shyly.

Oh, but wasn't that shy glance adorable? Focus! Brendan smiled a little and nodded, "Yeah," He rubbed his hand against his face and nodded again, "Yeah, I mean...Well, I've been sort of wondering..." He didn't know how not to just ask, so...

"I was just wondering if you maybe had a crush on me, Carson?" He asked softly, raising his eyebrows a bit, trying not to look like he was judging or anything. Just curious.

	That made Carson blush all the more as he let go of the sock, which Trinket took and trotted off with. He sat there awkwardly on the floor before once more looking in Brendan's direction. "Yeah. That got a puzzled look from Carson who couldn't understand why Brendan was asking such a question.

"Yes, you." His eyebrows furrowed a bit, cheeks still bright red with embarrassment. "You are...sweet, and gentle and you d-don't make f-fun of me..." The man averted his eyes yet again. "And m-maybe you scared me that one time but t-thinking back on it i-it wasn't so bad." Especially compared to what Dylan had done to him.

	"It makes me...g-gay though." He frowned a little bit. "N-not like any woman would w-want me anyway." Really as he got older and more lonely he found women weren't interested. "Well," Brendan moved his hand to stroke at Carson's hair a bit before shrugging his other shoulder, "You live with me. You spend loads of time with me. I can trust you," Somewhat, "And I love you, too, you know. I mean, I love William in a slightly different way but...You know, he said he would be willing to," It was weird suggesting this to Carson, the innocent carson, but... "To have you in our bed. To try it out."

Color flared up in Carson's face as he finally realized what Brendan was asking. They wanted to have sex with him? He'd barely had sex with one person, let alone two!

"I-I don't...know." Carson swallowed and pulled his legs up onto the couch a bit, hugging them while still leaning into Brendan. "I mean, with y-you maybe but. How do you do it with...t-three people?"
