Carson had taken one hot bath after another until he could stand. He'd scrubbed himself pink and yet he still felt dirty. Still felt violated. When he could stand he took showers and scrubbed himself down more. It was Wednesday morning that he finally stopped showering and bathing himself. When he finally posted and asked Brendan to come and get him.
So he got dressed in the living room with the windows drawn shut because he couldn't bring himself to go into his bedroom. He didn't go into the kitchen. Sparky, while beat up, seemed relatively okay and just whined softly. Carson sat on the couch to wait for his friend and his dog sat beside him, gently licking at his owner's hand.
