Who: Claire and Gulliver What: Random meetup in a convenient store that gets robbed. When: ~7pm Where: Gas Station/Convenient store Rating: PG
Class had once again been long and boring, and Gully was seriously considering dropping out all together. Why should he bother with school when he could just illusionate anything? He'd taken it upon himself to patrol some bad areas near his home at night, but so far, he hadn't run into any trouble. Right now though, he had the munchies, and the trip from school to home was a long one on his bike, so he opted to make a pit stop at one of the gas stations. He'd fill up his tires a bit before locking the bike up at the rack before heading inside.
It wasn't hard to spot the kid with a bright yellow BMX helmet and a hideously unmatching purple hoodie. Hey, he was a signature kid, what can I say? Sneakers squeaked against the tile as he walked through one of the isles, immediately picking up a bag of beef jerky. That stuff was just too good to resist. Gully noticed that there were other people in the store, but really paid no mind to them. The original owner was at the counter, Gulliver knew this because he was a frequent shopper at this particular place. The boy had just opened up the fridge door to grab himself a coke when he heard something he'd never thought he'd hear before.
Gunshots.
In the store came two men, dressed in the stereotypical black and leather with stupid ski masks on their face. Each one had their own gun. A very, very real gun at that. They were shouting things at the clerk, though the first guy's partner separated from them and started walking the store, pocketing whatever the hell he felt like taking with him until he spotted one of the security cameras. He'd flash it a smile before holding up his gun and blasting it away with a couple of shots.
Meanwhile, upon the first shots initially fired, Gully had dropped to the ground and taken cover as if he were back in grade school, protecting himself from a tornado. After a few moments though, panic and instinct turned into a eureka! He didn't have to worry about getting shot, all he had to do was.. hide. Closing his eyes, Gully rattled his brain, trying to remember every detail of the store so that he could recreate it the area he was in, but leave himself out of the illusion. It was probably the most difficult thing he'd done yet, but his adrenaline was pumping just as fast as his heart. Had anyone ended up near him and was actually looking, well, they'd have just witnessed a boy vanish. Literally.
