-distracted-"Ya, Sam."

"Hey, um, it's Emily."

"Emily, hi" -sound of rustling clothing- "What's up."

"Are you busy right now? I... I can call back."

"No no, it's fine, I'm--"-pause- "Now is fine, it's actually quite for once. Guess you've heard."

"Sort of. Gabe was kind of... well..."

"Rude and irritated? Ya well..." -tired sigh- "I don't think you'll find someone who isn't. Grant and Asher tortured Angie, Alena and Cookie."

"...Do you know why?"

-clenches jaw- "Alena got Dinah invovled and they didn't like it, so they decided to go after her, and managed to torture Cookie and Angie as well. Cookie is dead."

"I know- about Cookie, I mean. I'm.. really sorry, Sam."

"You don't have to apologize, I'm not the one who needs any..." -bites lip- "It's over with for now at least. Alena can't be blamed, the psycho twins are just out of their fucking minds, and I'm sure Elkins will deal with them appropriately."

-sigh- "Gabe told me... he tried to kill them."

-exhale- "He did, but it's fine. Capulet is unfortunately not dead, and I'll take blame for that."

"Thank you for stopping him, Sam."

"You don't have to thank me, I wish he were dead too. It got intense in there, everything is fine now."

"Wishing someone were dead and killing them are entirely different things. I can't imagine what having that on his conscience would do to him. I just- do you remember when he saw on his dossier that he'd killed Grant? He seemed so upset at the notion, but then he tried to do it anyway."

"You didn't hear the things Grant was spewing. I get why Gabe did it, and I know what that would have done to him, believe me-"-pause- "He made a mistake. It's not like Gabe will do it again."

"He... seemed really angry that you stopped him."

"Did he?"-snort- "Well that's too bad for him."

"I keep talking about Gabe. Are you okay, Sam?"

-tense-"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. I've jsut had enough-" -dismissive- "Sorry we didn't tell you until now."

"You were preoccupied. I know."

"Ya. Well you can come up if you want, I don't think much more help is needed though"

"Gabe doesn't want me there."

"Huh. Well, it might be best if there's less people here, majority have gone homeanyways."

"...Yeah. Listen, I should go, but um. You're a great leader, Sam, and they were lucky to have you there with them."

-caught off guard- "I tried. But thanks Emily."

"Bye Sam."

"Bye Emily."
