Who: THE BARKERS What: Steph has to tell him something.. When: Afternoon Where: Steph’s place
After getting off the computer with Steph, he quickly got up and shut it off. Whatever she was supposed to tell him, he had a gut feeling that he wasn’t going to like it. He walked out of his room, and grabbed one clean shirt from the good pile of shirts in his room. Despite the fact that you could now see the floor in his room, that didn’t stop him from piling his clean laundry on his bed instead of folding it up and putting it in a drawer like a normal person would do. Shoving his shoes on, he grabbed his keys off of the counter and walked straight to his car, starting it up, and hastily drove to Steph’s place. Over and over he kept telling himself not to worry, not to overreact on this because it wouldn’t help the situation. At the stop light, his fingers drummed over his wheel, biting his lip.
Keep calm.
Pulling up into the driveway of her place, he shut off the engine, but stayed in the seat for a couple of minutes making sure his breathing was even. His eyes flickered to his rearview mirror, seeing that he had a bit of sweat on his forehead. The top of his wrist wiped it off quickly and sighed, “I don’t even know what she’s going to tell me” he said to himself. Standing up and taking it like man, he walked over and knocked on the door, stepping back and leaned on the railing on the side casually. At least he looked like he wasn’t worrying anymore. For now.
