Who: Carman Hunter and open
What: Car ran out of gas
Where: In the highway. Uh oh.
When: Monday night

Carman drove out in no where in particular. When she wanted to clear her head, she’d usually just drive. Her hot Starbucks coffee sat in her cup holder and her fingers lifted it up, her lips quickly taking the vanilla taste as she tilted the cup. Placing down the cup she looked straight ahead to the black road. Her eyes were tempted to look at the time, but she dared not to not wanting to know how late it was. It was probably not over 11pm. At least she hoped so. But she changed her mind and wanted to look, and instead of seeing the time, her eyes caught that she barely had any gas left. Her eyes widened and tried looking where she was. The area was vaguely familiar, so she sped down to a gas station.

But it wasn’t enough. Gradually her car slowed down, and she stepped on the gas petal which did nothing, “Oh c’mon, c’mon, don’t do this to me. Not now” she begged the automobile, but it wasn’t like the thing had a heart. It went into a complete stop and she sighed, banging her fists on the steering wheel, “Stupid Carman. Stupid, stupid Carman” she scolded at herself. She walked out of the car and hit the tires, “C’mon, run you stupid thing!” she yelled at it. Her hands grabbed for her bag and searched for her phone…which she has forgotten at him. She let out an exasperated sighed, “You’ve got to be kidding me…”

Carson didn't enjoy car rides all that much, if he was honest, but over the weekend he'd taken a trip out to Boston to visit an old friend of his. Since he hated taking buses on long trips, and to take a plane was impossible, he'd settled on renting a car and heading out that way Friday afternoon. Spending the weekend with the friend he'd packed everything up Monday afternoon and was now heading back home, focused on the task at hand.

However his lights caught something and he noticed a young woman had pulled over in the other lane and was...kicking her vehicle? Wrinkling his nose a bit he pulled over into the shoulder of his lane and shut off his vehicle. Carefully trekking across the deserted road he made it to the other side safely, flashlight in hand.

"Miss?" He asked quietly, almost nervously. "Are you okay?"
