I'm Lauren, and I'm pretty excited to be a part of this game! I know you want to hear all about my character, so without further awkward introduction nonsense, I introduce to you: Jackson Wright.
He is a 33-year-old graphic novelist and comic writer; he has two published graphic novels so far, and maybe you've seen his weekly comic in the Bristol paper? :D His graphic novels are a mixture of his insane imagination and his extremely vivid nightmares/dreams he's had since he was a kid, and he's currently dreaming up a third. Though he spends a lot of time working and drawing in his apartment, he does occasionally get over his introverted side and wanders around the town, looking for inspiration and a decent cup of coffee. He's spent all but 10 years of his life in Bristol; he relocated to Boston for that time (he attended university there for fine arts + english, and then stayed once he published his novels and really started enjoying the city), but due to some personal problems, found his way back home. Social activity doesn't come as naturally to him as art; he was bullied and beat him when he was younger, and is a little haunted by some tougher times in his past, but is very loyal and compassionate once he opens up to someone a little better.
He's not exactly sure what's going on yet, but he seems to get stuck in some daydreams that are a little out of the ordinary for him (in that they are ordinary, as opposed to his usual surreal/horrific projections of his actual surroundings). He hasn't quite made the connection that they're linked to what he's touching at the time, but he has noticed there's a pattern of things he's seeing - the origins of objects, a few minutes in time of their existence before he's ever seen them, etc. He's a little hesitant to confide in anyone about it because he spends so much time in his own head already and is unsure whether anyone would believe him.
Despite his anxious and introspective nature, I'm sure there are some important figures in his life aside from his family. So if you want to talk about plotlines, reach me via PM, AIM (yleefyhcout) or email (miamicurrent@gmail.com). His full history can be seen at touchyfeely.
