Girly-boys
Something that endlessly annoys me...*sigh*
You are playing an adult male character. And he's gay. And you're shipping him with another adult, gay male. Do not to be playing him as though he were a twelve year old girl trying to impress her boyfriend with her psuedo-helplessness and admiration of his Big, Brave, Strongness.
Example 1: Our characters (both adults) have decided to explore the local haunted house, for the fun of it. They are a little drunk and they are being silly. Or at least, that was the plan. Your character proceeds to cling, whine, whimper, shriek at nothing and put his cold wittle hands in my character's pockets. My character is going, "Wtf is wrong with you?" He's also getting turned off. Because, really, he does not expect a grown man to act this way.
Example 2: Our characters have difference of opinion that is well-established in canon. Do not to be making your character agree with my character's opinion instead, just to be kissing up to my character in the spirit of getting buttsex. Stop making your character subordinate to his partner in all things, large and small. Because my character? Is getting severely bored by your little pushover who apparently doesn't have a single personal opinion of his own.
Example 3: Your adult, gay male character does not have to giggle all the time. He does not have to blush all the time. And stop having him burst into tears at the drop of a hankie. My character does not think your character is a special treasure who needs to be loved, cherished and protected from the big bad world. My character thinks your character needs therapy. And medication. And maybe a vacation in a place with nice, soft walls. And my character is having seconds thought about this whole thing, because it's not easy to be in a relationship with someone who has a mental disorder.
And all that is even before we get them anywhere near intimate enough to sleep together. Which they probably never will, because your character's behavior is a total turn off to my guy.
In summary, next time any of these things happen (or any of a dozen others like them), I'm going to have my character ask, "How old were you when you first got your period?"
