AboutThe date, the setting, all very typical of your everyday hospital: trained professionals doing their part to save lives, cure disease, and not go mad while they're doing it

And therein lies the problem.

Welcome to Fallbrook, a hospital world renowned for its handling of... unusual, unsolvable medical mysteries. Employing some of the best doctors in the nation and the world, as well as the best technology available, it's no wonder why so many... unique cases come through their doors. Leaving, however, seems to be another story.

The rate of insanity in the hospital became so high, a separate wing was donated by an outside 'power', simply for the sake of handling the psychological issues that seemed to arise from setting foot in the building. Now, it is also one of the world's most famous- and most talked-about- psychological treatment center, as well. It's the risk some are willing to take, to possibly find a better life.

Guidelines -Play nice! We're all here to have fun. Any conflicts of personality, canon, or conduct should be taken care of out of game. Talk to each other first, then try a mod. Nothing gets more tiring than character bleed.

-Due to the possible adult situations inherent in the game, all applicants are ensuring by applying that they are at least of the majority age of their country- mostly 18. Darker elements- suicide, drug use, sex, etc- are all allowed. Just keep it under a cut.

-Don't knock the medicine! I highly doubt any of us are actually medical professionals. If you want your character to have a well-known disease, please look it up- but, we're not concerned with getting the medicine right, as much as we are the interpersonals. Think 'Grey's Anatomy' :P.

Hospital Info
-Name: Fallbrook Hospital and Sanitorium
-Location: Big Fictional City, California, USA. Outlying suburbs are upper-middle-class, with urban areas being more... well, urban.
-Specialties: Diagnostic medicine, plastic surgery, psychiatry, psychology (List updates as doctors come and go)
-Layout: First floor: clinic, administrative ofices, ER, triage ORs. Second floor: Specialized offices, inpatient care, ORs, etc. Top Floor: Psychology/Psychiatry/Sanitarium; comings and goings from the level are monitored by guards, for the safety of both the patients and their visitors.
