This is a modest swimsuit I had made a year or two ago by Crystal of Simply Modest Swimwear. (Visit the site to get an idea of what they look like on.) It cost $125; they start at $150 now. The suit is meant to cover the elbows and knees of a person about 5'5"; it has kind of a wide neck, so it might not cover the collarbones. I never wore it and have lost a lot of weight since it was made; it was made to my measurements, but even when I tried it on new it felt a little big to me; I like to feel a little stretch in a lycra swimsuit, even a modest one--obviously I don't want it to cling to my every curve, but if there's no tension at all I always feel I'm about to fall out of my swimwear. It has never been worn in the water or for any length of time; it has been tried on over underwear.
Asking: $50.00 + shipping. (See profile for shipping policy.)
Bust of dress: Stretches from 48-50". Double layer of lycra.
Waist of dress: Stretches from 44-46"
Hip of dress: Around 54".
Length of dress overall: 42"
Length of skirt: 24"
Length of sleeves: 20"
Waist of pants: Stretches from 44-48"
Hips of pants: Stretches from 52-56"
Length of pants: 28"
Inseam of pants: 15"
Weight: 28 ounces
The dress. It comes down over the knee as well and has 3/4 sleeves but kind of a wide scoop neck. It has a double layer of lycra in the bodice. It would probably fit a 24-26W. I wore a 24 at the time and felt that the lycra was not stretched at all.
Closeup of the dress.
The pants. These are lycra pants and they do come over the knee because I am very careful about having my knees covered. They are QUITE thin but the skirt comes down over them. They are a uniform colour of purple but the light is weird in my living room. They come over the knees. I would say they would EASILY fit a size 26W butt.
