"As you wish, but only if you call me Audrey," the statement was delivered with an easy air, friendly and maybe a little cutesy. This woman was interesting and had a feel about her.. very charged..

"Yes, that's correct. I gave that up.. I had a little scare and anyway," she continued through the lie, hoping Rachel wouldn't pick up on it and ask for details, "I only pursued that career out of my father's insistence. It was not what I wanted." Audrey gave a small shrug, it wasn't the complete truth but it was her story and she was sticking to it.
