Richard Hastings ([info]_livewire) wrote in [info]axis_city_,
"Isn't that illegal?" He asked raising an eyebrow, "Against ethics, anyway?" Not that he had many, but even to him, old people, especially those who had got to the point when their comprehension was lacking, were off limits. Besides, there was no-one over thirty that Richard really thought was worth the time of day. "So are you already looking for something else?" He asked then, vaguely reminded by Dustin's words that he and Edward needed a new lab-rat. Not an actual rat, but a runner and errand boy. They normally used science graduates looking for experience, but with the opening of the new Moretti labs it was hard getting their hands on anyone.

He made a noise of approval at the boy's improved shot, nodding his head. "Very good. You might even beat me." He said, although perhaps he only said it to encourage the boy and take his own turn, potting the red he had angled into place the turn before.

Wait a moment. Special interest groups? That sounded suspicious, damn suspicious. "What sort of special interest? Fan clubs?" He asked, almost draining his glass now, only foam left at the bottom. "Not much of that here- these lot don't want fans and they certainly aren't fans of much themselves. Apart from the superbowl."
