He seemed surprised to say the least when the man approached him and he glanced back to the students before looking back at the blonde man, he recognized him as a matter. He'd been very interested in the Hastings-Shaw project since he was in college, but he decided to keep quiet about it and just took a second to think of how he was going to phrase addressing the man. Once again, he was surprisingly articulate and his voice was full with a hidden strength of character.
"I think that it's a good idea, full of dangerous variables and against popular opinion..both of which doom it to an unlikely completion. Like most good ideas. The research will start by isolating certain key protein sequences or with established molecular anomalies?"
Then it dawned on him, he probably should talk like an average college student if he was to remain inconspicuous. He adjusted the backpack a bit nervously, realizing now that the weight was on his back and then looking to the reporters as well as the few people still milling about. He could see most of the students were already headed out, but he couldn't deny the fact that he was still interested in the whole subject. His own research was going, but it was very slow and laborous without access to the proper facilities.
"I also have to think that it'll be difficult to convince people that allowing individuals with abilities to interact, possibly pooling their resources would be an intelligent course of action."
