The plan was simple. Angelique returned to town from working a job about a week ago. She'd been gone for a solid month, mainly because the damn target kept moving. She wasn't sure if the owner was tipped off everytime she got close, or if his paranoia was just that damn lucky. Either way, it had taken her a month to finally get her hands on the priceless painting she was getting paid high dollar for. It was a tedious and stupid job, but it had been finalized the week prior to this. The pack was sated, the food was stocked, everything was where it needed to be. Including her. When she'd gotten back into town, the first thing she'd done was shoot a message to Olivia. Nothing incredibly in depth (Ivaylo was back to being Angelique now, after all), more of a simple request to join her for a very late dinner in the upscale restaurant, The Silver Ladle. Something new. Trying something that neither of them had ever tried before. New food, new drinks, new place for her but possibly not for Olivia. Either way, both of them would be trying new something. It would be a smaller push out of the bubble than she'd gone for the first time. Angelique was not trying to relive that panic attack poor Livvie had on the plane the last time she'd tried to surprise the girl. She needed to backtrack and start a little smaller, she figured. It would take time, but she had all the time in the world. She'd taken the time to dress nicely, but still keep it a little casual. This was a dinner date, not a romantic rendezvous. At least, for now. Who knew what the future would bring. Angelique could definitely enjoy either the friendship they currently had or the possible romance they could have in the future. It was all in how one looked at things. Enjoying each others' company for the time being was more than enough for the werewolf. It suited her lifestyle in the way that she wouldn't have to possibly worry about her significant other finding out about her other life. Maybe one day, if the two of them continued to grow closer, Olivia may be let into the secret... but it was a big secret and she would really have to prove herself trustworthy enough to know that one. Settling at the table, Angelique picked up the menu and ordered a bottle of Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé 2008. She'd never had it before, but knew she had more than enough to get this and something new if they didn't like it. It was supposed to taste like a blend of fruits, however, so Angelique figured she would give it a shot... and have Olivia give it a shot in the process as well. She let the waiter know that she was waiting on her date for the evening, and to send the little redhead to her when she walked in, then she'd order appetizers and dinner. It was only fair to let Livvie choose her own, since Angelique didn't know what she'd had before and what she hadn't. This was a date to try things they hadn't tasted before, after all. Olivia was the psychic of the pair, not Lieke. Now, all that was left to do was wait on said redhead to join her at the table and start enjoying their evening. Or rather, start enjoying their night, since it was well past dinner time anyway. |
