Why yes, that is a visual representation of what happens when he syncs.
Matt Thomas, 25, single (LADIES???) and beautiful. He's a cocky son of a bitch, mostly due to his father raising him to be confident. Jubilee wasn't ready to be a mother, so she ran off to go do x-men-y-things with the rest of her time and left Matt with his dad, who raised him as best he could. Matt went to New Avalon Academy (his dad is/was a teacher there) and then he went to college in New York on scholarship as a football player. He was a great football player, would've gone pro, but he suffered a compound fracture in his senior year and that effectively ended what would have been a great career. Instead, he finished up with his business degree and decided to put his awesome abilities to work being a Bounty Hunter. He also joined the Defenders, because he thinks rules are stupid.
Abilities are like this;
Synchronicity: Like his father, Matt can sync up his aura to those of other superhumans around him in about a 200ft radius. While he is "synched up" he is capable of copying the abilities of other mutants, and mastering them with greater ease than even they have. It is not uncommon for him to be able to do things with more control or access parts of an ability the main user is not capable of. While he is synched with another person, his body radiates multi-colored light.
Aura Sensing & Tracking: Matt can also sense the auras of others and track superhumans through their bio-signatures. He does this by allowing his aura to lock onto theirs.
Psionic Shields: Like his mother, Matt has an inability to be tracked or detected by telepaths.
DO NOT WORRY - I will not be using your characters powers all willy nilly. I will always ask permission first. SECONDLY - HEY BEAR! I'm hoping we can have Matt be one of Squirrel Girl's superchildren she supernannied for!?
ALSO - He's a player, who probably has cheated, and doesn't really care. SO up for ALL sorts of prior relationships with the ladies, ALL sorts of friends from N.A.A and whatnot, etcetcetc. HIT ME UP
