au50: a fanfiction challenge community.

What if Buffy wasn't the Slayer? Or what if Harry had become friends with Draco back in their first year? What if Sam hadn't helped out Dean when their father had gone on that hunting trip?

The possibilities are endless.

How does it work? First join the community, as you'll need to be a member to participate. Once you've joined, check out the current claims and then the prompt tables. Once you've decided on your claim and prompt table, head over to the sign up post and make your claim. Once you've written your 50 fics, make your way over to the Hall of Fame where you'll be awarded with a banner.

FAQ

Rules:
01. You must be a member of the community to participate.
02. No RPF/RPS or original fiction is allowed. This is for fanfiction only. However, original characters set in an established fandom are allowed and welcomed.
03. Anything goes, just ensure that you use appropriate labels and warnings.
04. All fics should be placed under a lj-cut with the exception of the header. Fake-cuts to personal/writing journals are allowed. Please don't link back to a locked journal.
05. Members are allowed to have a maximum of three claims at a time.
06. Although there is no real time line, participants are asked to post their first fic within two months of being approved.
07. It should go without saying that all fics should be based in an alternate universe.
08. All fics should be at least 100 words in length.
