Who: Oliver Queen and Dinah Lance What: Dinah remeets Ollie. When: Her arrival. Backdated to yesterday night Where: A coffee shop Warnings: none, but can be changed if need be.
Dinah waited outdide a small coffee shop. She was waiting for Oliver. But it wasn't her Ollie. Her anxiety was running on high gear, and her nerves were misbehaving. There was a cup of warm neglected coffee in her hands as she sat outside the small shop apprehensively people watching. Taking mental notes and not liking any one of them. They were all perfect. A little too perfect infact. It made her worry. Would this move be like all the others and end in a vicious circle of disaster and heart break or would Oliver accept her? Those message boards or whatever they were "magical message boards" hadn't helped ease her worries. Infact they were stronger than ever before. She didn't know what to say to Ollie 2.0. What could she say? We're married, deal with it? That wasn't her style. She was the nice one.
At the same time she didn't want to have to go through the awkward phase of re-meeting him again. It would hurt to much after everything they'd been through. Her emotions were already a tidal wave thanks to the fact that he didn't know her and post wedding nerves. That wedding had been a disaster. A nice ceremony to start sure, but in the end...those were memories Dinah didn't want to relive and wouldn't if she could help it. She convinced herself that she refused to share her wedding nightmare. But who knew what would happen when Oliver Queen actually arrived.
Her coffee was cooling down, but Dinah didn't even seem to notice or spare it a glance one way or the other. She couldn't even think about coffee. So many questions and very few answers raced through her mind. Golden locks of hair spilled over her shoulders and she pushed it gently away idly with a free delicate hand. Where was he?..
