Caitlin was more than happy to get back to Leena's. Once they had gotten back to the bed and breakfast, Leena went to the kitchen, saying she would start lunch soon. Nodding, Caitlin watched the rest of them disappear up the stairs before she turned to Jack (she refused to call him Aiden unless they were around the others). She was about to say something to him but he turned to Martha and started to speak to her. Figuring they had some things to talk about, Caitlin took her husband's hand and went out to their room with him.
"I need to wash up a bit," she told him.
She leaned up and softly kissed him before going over to the dresser to grab a pair of lounge pants and t-shirt. Caitlin then went to the bathroom and stripped her clothes off before washing up a bit. It felt nice to be home with John, and to know she wasn't going to die. Reaching down, she placed the flat of her hand against her still-flat stomach, and grinned. "You're a surprise, little one, but a good one," she quietly said. "You're about to come into a very strange world, but your Daddy and I, along with all your aunts and uncles, will be here to protect you."
Shaking her head, Caitlin picked up her clothes and got dressed before throwing her dirty clothes in the hamper. When she stepped out of the bathroom, she smiled at her husband and sat down on the couch. She reached out for him and pulled him down beside her. "I'm so glad to be home," Caitlin said as she snuggled against him. "I missed you so much."
Just then, there was a light knock on the door. When it opened, Jack peeked in and smiled. "May I come in?" he asked.
"Sure," Caitlin said with a smile. She moved over so he could sit next to her. "So Aiden, huh?"
"It's my real name," he said with a shrug. "Look, Martha is going home tonight but I decided to stick around for a bit. Hope the two of you don't mind."
