Katie followed Fred's gaze to the boy eyeing the candy and had to snicker just a bit at the boy's shifty behavior. Turning back, she dreaded having to answer the same questions she'd just asked him, but she knew it was coming. "I'm fine," she said, turning her eyes down to the counter, "as fine as anyone can be, I'd say." she looked back up at Fred with a weak semblance of her normal bright smile. "Worried about Teagan," she said, thinking of her younger brother. "Though," she added, in a whisper now, you never knew who was listening, "you must be more worried about Ron."
