"It's probably the most balanced way of putting it. What word would you use?" She hadn't missed his reaction. He certainly was a sensitive thing if that's all it took to get a response. At least he was trying. Or perhaps he was constipated. For the sake of the air around them she hoped he was merely annoyed.
"Challenging," she repeated, letting the word settle on her ears. "That's one way to put it. Transitional periods always seem so scary and then looking back you realize you survived. Take going to Hogwarts. Half the students looked like they were going to wet themselves when they got on the train. Two weeks in and they forgot they were supposed to be homesick."
