Alberta hung the set of dress robes at the top of the changing screen in the corner and stepped back to look at them. She had just finished the sleeves the day before and was now waiting for Julie Dorny to come in for her fitting. She she examined the robes for the millionth time she marveled again at just how small they were. Not that she though much of Julie's height, she just found it a bit odd (in a funny way) that the girl had almost the same measurements as when she came in to buy new robes for her fourth year at Hogwarts; she hadn't really grown in all that time.
She glanced at the clock, noting that it would still be a few minutes before her customer arrived. So she sat at her sewing table and summoned her cup of tea from the other side of the room. It looked as though she would have just enough time to finish it before Julie showed up. Touching the tip of her wand to the porcelain, Alberta warmed her tea before taking a sip. Today had so far been a fairly productive, though not overly busy day. She had orders to finish and was preparing her final design for Fleur's wedding dress. That in itself made her incredibly excited every time she sat down to work on it. She enjoyed doing wedding gowns, they were probably her favorite things to make and the fact that she knew the bride and her family so well made it even more exciting.
Sipping her tea, Alberta watched the street through the window, waiting for Julie to turn to corner.
