Who: Ernie Macmillan and Seamus Finnigan What: After the Prefect's meeting, Ernie inquires about Seamus's stalker. When: Thursday afternoon (10 March), post class, pre-potterwatch Where: Prefect's Meeting Room Rating: Fairly low but with considerable potential for swearing
Ernie had better things to do than follow Ambrose Travers. He had far better (and far more important) things to do than spend all of his time following the conceited git. But after his last encounter with the boy, Ernie thought he should at least live up to part of his idle threat. Which meant spending a bit of time keeping an eye on Travers.
It had been enlightening. Not because he had caught Travers doing anything particularly bad, but because nearly every time he saw Travers, he also saw Seamus. And that couldn't be good.
So after the Prefect's meeting, Ernie seized the opportunity and asked Seamus to hold back for a moment, on the pretense of needing to address a problem with some younger Gryffindor boys. He could see people milling about the room as he started to ramble on about needing to take better control of the boys' behaviour until finally the room was clear and everyone, including Travers, was gone.
Stopping mid-sentence, Ernie smiled slightly, raising an eyebrow. "So Seamus, why are you being constantly followed by Ambrose Travers, resident smarmy git and pain in the arse?"
