Ernie's comment about keeping an eye on him reminded Ambrose of his conversation with Finnigan a few nights prior. Though that time, the roles had been reversed, and he'd been the one saying he'd be keeping watch. He was quite sure, however, that he'd been doing as the Carrows would have liked for him to, so he wasn't all that concerned about the comment.
"You be sure and do that, Macmillan," he said with a smirk. "Anytime you think I'm stepping a toe out of line, run straight to the Carrows. I'm sure they'd be thrilled to hear it from you."
