He had been looking forward to this for a while. Not for any reason but a chance to have some nice alone time with Padma. He could almost pretend it was a date, except for the part where it was not. He was not quite sure what to call it, actually. A quiet lunch over a charms book? That seemed so ridiculous. Terry really wanted to have a good name for it, even though Anthony and Michael reminded him that he had never officially asked the head Girl out-out for the day. It was something he knew that would not happen. He was not the type of person to have girlfriends—that was Michael. He was the charmer of the group. Terry was more of the best friend that said really sweet things and girls always wish they could have a boyfriend that was like him but was not actually him.
Always a great title to hold.
Regardless, Terry had lugged the two books he and Hannah got from the library a few weeks back and his always-handy notebook with scribbled notes and doodles covering the pages. He had brought a few ideas to the board and planned to show Neville everything. He figured there would be a bunch of good ideas floating around the next time everyone got together and for once, he would open his mouth with one of them.
Terry sat in the corner of the Three Broomsticks with his beanie still pulled over his head in an attempt to warm feeling hack into his ears. His cloak was off and laid over the chair with his scarf and gloves. He was looking at the decorative trees that were scattered across the room. He never really understood why there were so many kinds in such an erratic set up. Someone really needed to fix the outdated design. Rustic was one thing, tacky was another. At least the food was good.
