Hogwarts was undoubtedly a massive castle, but Fleur found it difficult nonetheless to find a private place to study. She would have preferred to stay in the Beauxbatons carriage, but her well-meaning friends were overwhelming her with tips and encouragement for the task. What she needed was a plan, and she couldn't form one with people breathing down her neck.
Hogwarts castle itself felt almost like it was off-limits, because even though most people were being very nice to her, she felt like it belonged to the Hogwarts Champions, so she had settled for taking a few books from their library and was planning on hiding behind one of the many trees on the grounds.
Fleur walked quickly in case anyone she knew would see her, or even someone she didn't know. She was sort of avoiding Roger, because like most boys she dated, she felt like he wasn't really going out with her. He probably didn't know anything about her, despite all the talking she did. Sure, he had bought her a lovely Valentine's present, but who hadn't? Fleur had to enlist the help of her friends to help her get through the pile of gifts, a task she didn't like, for once, since she had a more important task on her mind.
So, how was she going to breathe underwater for such a long time?
Fleur had her nose in a book when she heard Lee approaching, and was already sighing before he even opened his mouth. She glanced at him and returned her eyes to the book, judging the task to be more important than this stranger's conversation about the weather. "Eet ees cold and zee sky ees so dark zat I zink eet will rain, so no, zee weazzer ees 'orrible." Everything about Scotland made her miss France. It would never be this horrible in February at home. "And oui, you are bozzering me. 'Oo are you?"
