Lyle kept his tone even and rose from his desk to wander over to the far corner of the study. It was crowded with shelves and drawers, evidently filled with a variety of paperwork, including records of any acquisitions made for the past five years. There were, of course, much older papers elsewhere in the Greengrass estate, but they weren't always as pertinent.
He flipped through the drawer he knew would hold what he was looking for. Luckily for them both, Lyle was a very organized individual, meticulous, even. It wasn't very long before he'd located the papers and delivered them into Severus' hands.
"These are the written records, proofs of authenticity, and so on," he explained, sounding a little bored now. "The wands are, of course, in another room. I'll have the House Elf fetch them for you while you peruse those." Without waiting for Severus to answer, Lyle set to summoning the Elf and instructing it briefly.
