"I really liked the tone of that one. Like you just captured this moment of peace. I felt like I'd been there before." Bill watched her as she moved off--he was mostly behaving himself, but he couldn't help admiring the way she walked, her shapely legs and...other assets.
He wiped his hands carefully and checked the ta'amiya before taking the photographs, looking through them with genuine enjoyment. He didn't know much about photography as an art, but he was pretty sure they were good--really good. And beyond that, it was a little like taking a glimpse through Fleur's eyes. He liked how the world looked that way. "Could I have copies of a few of these? When I haven't decorated with Egypt pictures, my walls are pretty bare." The vineyard photo she pointed out was really compelling--there was something almost electric about it, waiting to see whether the sun or the thunderstorm would win out. "Are you good at everything?" He was only half-joking; so far the only thing he'd seen her struggle with was English pronunciation, and even then, she was pretty adept at making herself understood.
"My hobby's a bit weird, I suppose. I like taking things apart." He cast around for an example, but he'd put away all his little projects to tidy up for her visit. "Enchanted things, I mean, just little everyday stuff. I like to tear apart all the charms on them and then try to put them back together with improvements. I probably get it from my dad, he loves taking Muggle machines to bits." Bill laughed, picturing his father up to his elbows in disassembled cogs and bolts. "He's not all that keen on putting them back together, though. Once they're in pieces he loses interest."
