Who: Terry and Michael What: Arriving at Hogwarts When: (backdated) Sept. 1, 1991 Where: The docks Rating: G
Everything was so new to Terry. He had grown up with a very muggle lifestyle, even with a witch mother. It was amazing- he had gone through a wall. Just, right through with no resistance. An entire world was on the other side- a whole platform. How did it work? He could not wait to learn more and start with classes. Of course, he felt a little better knowing he was not the only person looking around in wonder. The whole train ride had been a scenic route through the country side. It was beautiful and the boy's eyes had been glued to the scenery. Even as it got dark out, he could make out the very vague outlines of villages and farms.
He had barely spoken to the dark hairs boy in his compartment. It was true that terry felt bad for being such bad company, but he never spoke, either. Even now as they stood outside of the train, looking lost and confused, Terry was amazed at everything. It wasn't until the young boy heard a booming voice that he realized they were not following the older students. He looked toward the sound of the voice and saw a very large man. Why was he so big? He had to be a giant. There was no way that was a normal height for anyone.
They were told to get into the boats and Terry noticed something rather odd about them. There were no rows for them and no motors to propel the boats forward. How were they going to move? Were there lines that dragged the boats through the water slowly? What was going on?
Finally, Terry turned to the darked-haired boy from before and tilted his head slightly.
"How are these going to go anywhere, they don't have paddles?" Terry asked him in a low voice.
