When: Monday, 10 January 1998 (BACKDATED) Where: Hogsmeade, The Prose & Page Rating: Low
Despite the bite in the air, Audrey was enjoying her stroll through the streets of Hogsmeade. Since moving here a few years ago, she was constantly grateful for how convenient it made things - anything she needed was basically within walking distance. Though the clouds hung very low today, maybe even threatening snow, thus far there had only been an odd sort of mist along some of the side streets. She supposed if the temperature dropped a bit more there might be flurries, in which case she'd have a good excuse to drop into the Three Broomsticks for a warm drink and some lunch. Not that she needed an excuse. Winter weather or no, she had every intention of treating herself to lunch out on her day off.
First, though, she needed to pick up a few books. As she neared The Prose & Page, a particular favorite for their variety of stock, she pulled the wool scarf around her neck up over her mouth. Chapped lips were such a bother, and the one thing she always seemed unable to prevent despite being so bundled up. A tall figure was dawdling outside the door, and Audrey spared him a curious glance. "Er, excuse me?"
She leaned in a little, about to tap the man on the shoulder so that he would move aside, when she realized she knew him. Her small smile at this discovery was hidden by her scarf.
