First Day at the New Job The move itself wasn't too bad, but now we had to start new jobs as well. After some wrangling (Wolfram & Hart apparently REALLY didn't want me if I couldn't come back with Lindsey), I managed to get a job with another law firm. I woke up early on my first day, taking a shower and heading down to the kitchen to make myself some coffee. Despite being an old hat at this, I couldn't help but feel a little too nervous for any real food but the coffee. |

Moving in It's been over a week now since we've moved into our new place in Portland Oregon, and so far it's not as bad as I thought it might be. No it's actually pretty nice all things considered. I've decided to take the next few weeks to fully unpack get to know our neighbors,and just generally be a man of leisure. I know it won't last longer that a month,because lets face it I can't do anything longer than that. I'm not sure what the hell Lilah will do other than maybe work at another law firm or something. So far though I'm just glad that we're all moved and now all we have to do is unpack. |

Waiting for Lindsey Continued from here After I got off the phone with Lindsey, I sat in my old family home and waited for him. I'm not even too sure why I thought that leaving would accomplish anything. I just got sick and tired of all of the staring from people any time Lindsey and I went out and Mel glaring daggers into me and whispering stupid stuff to all of her friends. Sure, I knew she was just making idiotic stuff up and just spinning her wheels, but it still got to me. I can't really stand the idea of being away from Lindsey at this point, though, which is why I am letting him come and get me. I'm fairly certain that he knows where the house is. Of course, if he doesn't or if he gets lost, he can always call me again and ask for more directions, or I can come and meet him, or something. Whatever. ( Read more... ) |
