Greetings from your long-absent and thoroughly negligent mod. I have a couple of announcements.

1) Last year, seleneheart and I started this asylum as the first place for Atlantis slash on InsaneJournal. It was a bad decision on my part because I was transitioning away from the fandom even then, and while I still read my favourite SGA authors I'm not nearly as active in the fandom as I need to be to support an asylum. You have my sincere apologies for being an absentee mod.

I would love to see this asylum become more active, and for that to happen I think I need to pass on the baton. If you'd like to mod what could be a great, active place for Atlantis on IJ, please leave a comment to this post, or email me (lilithilien @ gmail) and let me know of your interest. I would love to see this place in more active hands than my own!

2) When Bring Back the Porn (bbtp_challenge) started last year, it was a chance for everybody to forget about the headaches that had brought us to InsaneJournal and to get back to the fun of creating porn. It turned out to be wildly successful, with some great SGA entries.

Well, BBTP 2008 is just around the corner, so join bbtp_challenge and, whether you're a writer, an artist, a vidder, or an iconner, start making some porn!
