Who: Noriko Ashida, OTA
What: Released from Detox
Where: Between Blue Block and the Amusement Park
When: June 29th
Warnings: Mild Swearing

Everything hurt.

Everything.

Noriko was not the most pleasant of people on a good day, but now she was about as low as she had ever been. Her every muscle ached, her stomach was still churning, and the light hurt her eyes. She was more then pale, heavy bags under her eyes and a sour expression on her face.

She had been shown to a room, Her very own room. What joy. It almost made being sold worth it. She needed a fucking fix. She’d left the room with no real idea of where she was going, not that it mattered. These things generally had a way of working themselves out. You couldn’t throw a stone in New York without finding someone who new where to find the good stuff. She was sure the same could be said for this island.

Hands in her pockets to keep from scratching at her arms, Nori strode towards the amusement park, pace slow, mind lost in thoughts of playing there as a child. A visitor. Free to leave. Free to enjoy. Free….

But that was a different time.

Ugh. Why the fuck did he have to do repairs to the funhouse at this time of day? He was supposed to be getting his sleep. Not fixing a few props that had broken..and couldn't his owner hire some guys to do that instead? Fucking a, he hated that man with ever fiber of his being. Especially since he was now depleting him of sleep not only for this, but for increased training since he was supposed to be in the upcoming tournament. That ought to be as fun as a fucking barrel of monkeys.

The tall, pale man grumbled under his breath as he stepped out of the house of horrors. He had a few repairs left and then he could get the hell out of dodge until later in the night when he'd feel more alive, because this being awake in the day bullshit was really for the birds, to coin a phrase.

He gave a sigh, shaking his head. His long, unwashed black hair was hanging down in a lank way, it looking pretty greasy and dirty at the moment..but so the hell what? His boyfriend was at work, no one around to bug him about it.

He was wearing a pair of black pants, tight fitting ones that looked as though they were leggings, and a pair of red suspenders, but no shirt beneath that so one could see that long, pale torso very obviously, and also all the scars that spanned his chest in mutiple areas of different shapes and sizes. He wore his heavy boots on his feet and he gave a gruff sigh as he pulled a pack of cigs from his pants pocket as he plodded along.

He was in the middle of extracting a cancer stick from its package when his dark, murky eyes caught sight of someone he'd not seen before. His eyes fell heavily on her and he was silent for a while. Finally he said in a rather gruff, deep tone of voice, "You look like you need a drink or a smoke or somethin.." It wasn't exactly common he'd reach out to someone he didn't know especially, but he was getting vibes off of her that wasn't so much different from the feelings he experienced much of the time, so he'd decided on the spur of the moment to do so.

{hope you don't mind me joining you~}

Norkiko looked up, a scowl on her face, but it softened somewhat, and she gave a small shrug, kicking at the ground, lips twitching into something that almost resembled a smile. Almost. "Or something," she agreed, tucking a strand of electric blue hair behind her ear and eying the trail of smoke, following it down to its owner.

He looked about the right type. The sort she would have been friends with in New York. Not everyone's cup of tea, but then neither was Nori.

"M'Nori," she said, offering a hand.

{I was hoping you would.}

Mason usually made it a goal to not be anyone's cup of tea, rather on purpose. To put it lightly, the man could be a very difficult character to get along with. It was a fact Mason knew and usually embraced, but today he was in a fairly good mood, for him. Of course compared to others that might not particularly be a good mood, but then again, he'd never been the type that could be compared to others and come out very similar.

He did smirk slightly at the shade of her hair, so perhaps he approved of that, hard to say. He finished getting his smoke and proceeded to light it with a non descript black lighter, taking a long, rather unhealthy looking drag of it as the chick introduced herself. One eyebrow cocked slightly, as if he hadn't expected that type of response, but then again, the typical reply he got was a strange look and a walk away, so perhaps that wasn't too surprising.

"Mason." He grunted, feeling a bit awkward when she offered a hand, but he did shake it with a long, pale one of his own, the fingernails of said hand painted black. His grip was quite cool but strong, surprising, perhaps, for such a scrawny looking male.

She offered a small smile, more of a smirk really, giving a slight bow of her head. "Nice ta meet ya, Mason. So...you know where I might find a drink...or something?" she asked hopefully, giving a small tilt of her head, lips pursing slightly, pulse heightening at the mere thought of getting her hands on something.

His eyes narrowed just slightly. He looked her up and down again, wanting to be sure she wasn't a means to trap him in some way, one had to be careful when peddling such materials as he did when his boss said.

"I might know of where you might find..things of interest to ya, why?" He asked gruffly, a strange little sparkle in his eyes, as if he knew what she was talking about, but had to make sure she was on the level first.

Scratching absently at her forearms she shrugged, cupping the back of her neck and giving a small smile. "If you did know, I might be interested in purchasing," she said casually, "They got me off the stuff, and it's messing with my head."

"Oh, I know a lot a' things, but if the things I know are in conjunction to the things you wanna know, that's the issue here." He grumbled softly as he took a drag of his cigarette. He glanced from side to side and shifted a bit back from her, after a moment or two.

"Come on, if yer serious about it. Can't talk very much about it right here." He said, continuing on down the path after a moment.

Ah, he was definitely a dealer, they were always so hard to get to talk straight. All cover and cloak in case she was a nark. It wasn't until they got a steady thing going that a dealer ever began to let their guard down. Some of them became pretty fun once you got know them. Others sold you to amusement parks.

Her face broke into a relived look, hurrying to follow after him. Fuck, fuck, fuck, she needed something. They'd taken all she'd stashed in her bag for emergencies, and while the worst of the detox might be over, the cravings were only just getting started. "Thanks," she muttered, fiddling with the cash in her pocket and hoping it would be enough.

He noticed the girl scurried after him. Well, this would make that bastard owner of his happy. He had an urge to just give her everything he had for free, but then it would be his skinny white ass and he wasn't really in the mood for a reaming so he would have to charge her something. Hopefully Victor didn't find out, as he did not approve of this little side job he happened to do.

He led her to one of his 'hidey holes' near his place of employment, the 'Funhouse', looking here and there before he leaned against the back wall of the funhouse, not yet revealing his 'wares'. "What're ya lookin for?" He asked gruffly.

"Downers," she said immediately, "Whatever you got, I don't care. I've tried it all, I'm not picky." Her eyes had that yearning look that could only belong to a junkie, so close to a fix. Her fingers gave a slight twitch, giving a release of sparks, as if to remind her why she needed them, though a voice far in the back of her head seemed displeased, remembering far too well the pain of detox. She did not want to go through that again.
