Making Plans (Group Thread: All Dartingale Five Members)
Who: The Darties in Boston Thusfar (Ethan Highfield, Donnie Whitney, Kit Ransome, Gabe Claybrook) What: The First Overseas Meeting of the Dartingale Society of the Arts Where: Ethan's flat, near the college When: The first Saturday afternoon in September, 1880 Warnings: To Be Added If Necessary.
Ethan had called his first meeting over afternoon tea at his apartment near the school. While his apartment wasn't the ideal locale for a meeting of a secret society, he hadn't any connections in Boston that would allow other options in the way of venue. So, he was making due with what he had. The tea he'd ordered was set up on the coffee table, with chairs and tables set up around it. Ethan, of course, had pride of place in the most comfortable armchair, moved to the center of the room so that he could easily see each of the others.
He'd given them a few minutes upon arrival to get situated, pour cups of tea, and maybe chat a bit amongst themselves. But now he felt they'd been idle long enough, and Ethan wouldn't have any of his men thinking that they'd come to the US on holiday. Setting down his teacup, Ethan cleared his throat and waited for silence.
"Let the first overseas meeting of the Dartingale Society for the Arts begin," Ethan announced as soon as he was satisfied, and looked around each of his compatriots in turn. "I trust we've all settled into our new accommodations. Has anyone got any new business, or anything they would like to share with the group before we get into the reason why I've called you all here today?"
