Remus turned blue eyes up onto Jalil when the darker boy came into the room and he smiled just a bit.. but nothing had come of it and he'd returned to his corner, and it made Remus look down again, staring into his lap as he allowed Harry to bandage him. But after the older (younger) boy took his hand again, it brought up Lupin's attention and he locked his eyes onto Harry and smiled just some again. Reassuring. A smile Harry would recognize.
"Sirius.. he's.. well. A prat. No. The biggest prat I know, and I'm quite sure that he's the biggest prat I ever will meet. But he's a good man, too. Too smart for his own good. And handsome. Charming. He gets all the girls. All the time." Blue eyes rolled, but it was good-natured and a smile quickly followed. "Sirius was-- is-- nothing like his parents. He always disliked them. They always disliked him." He took in a breath slowly and rolled his good shoulder back. "He was a Chaser, too. They were holy terrors on the pitch. And off." He shook his head a little, bowing it some as he smiled, remembering the dark-haired boy who'd very quickly stolen his heart.
"Sirius was stuck up. He was mean. He was rude. But his heart was in the right place and he was loyal, brave-- he did things for me, and for James, that I couldn't even fathom doing myself. He always stood up for me. For us. Sirius was.. perfect. All of the best things about him and all of his flaws, it made him who he was. And he was perfect." Remus, clearly, was fond of Harry's Godfather. They'd been very close friends, all of them. "I wish you could have known him better. He loved your parents, more than anything in the world." More than he'd loved him. It was a sobering thought.
