Harry lifted his hand up slowly as Remus talked about his mother, mimicking the motion that the werewolf described. His fingers slid over his neck and rubbed, fingernails curling into his skin and digging slightly. His mother did that...? It was silly for him to get excited about something like that, but the fact that he'd picked up on something his mother had done, for the same reasons... it made him feel closer to her. Like he really was a little part of her. His hand lowered after a moment though and he smiled up at Remus again.
"It sounds like you were a much bigger fan of my mother's." Harry teased in a quiet voice, reaching out again to take hold of Remus' wrist and draw it away from his wounded shoulder. He pulled it back down between them and wrapped his fingers around it, tightly enough so that Remus wouldn't be able to draw it away again as easily as he had the previous time. "Thank you, for telling me about them. But don't tell me too much at once... I'm going to want you to tell me more about them later." Tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day.. he'd never get tired of hearing about them, not in this context.
Harry would sit there with him another few minutes before the door opened and Jalil appeared, coming inside and shutting it behind him. It'd taken him so long because he'd had to go out and actually buy bandages, and he came forward with a bag full of medical supplies and set them next to Harry on the bed. He glanced at their hands, held together like that, before looking up to Remus' face. He only stared a moment before nodding slightly, then taking a step back, moving towards his corner again. He needed to know what he was going to say before he said anything at all.. and he hadn't figured out what he was going to say yet.
Harry watched Jalil go before reaching for the bag and releasing Remus' hand to open it up, pulling out the roll of gauze and tape and bandages, taking a few minutes to dress the wounds and then bandage them all up, before leaning back again and settling in next to Lupin once more, retaking his hand. "Now tell me about Sirius." Even though Harry had known him... Remus needed to keep his head in the past.
