Well, I think we all have sensed it for a while, but Ascent seems to be losing its steam and rather than try to drag it out any longer, the mods have agreed to officially close it. We're sorry it had to happen, especially to the people we just added, but the community just wasn't going as strong as it used to anymore, and it wasn't bouncing back from the slow period we've been having. Thanks to everyone for being amazing players and contributors, it was truly awesome while it lasted.

We have also agreed to leave everything open for anyone who wants to continue their own personal storylines on the boards, which I know some people might. In other words, if anyone is still interested in writing in our little universe we've adopted, feel free, but think of it more as a group PSL than a game, now, because we won't be advertising or doing holds or anything of that anymore. But we also don't think it's fair to deny people access to the comms for logs and such.

I am still free and up to speak to any one of you from the game, I loved writing with/talking to you all! It's been great, and hopefully the end of Ascent doesn't mean the end of everything! Good luck to everyone.

My sixth (and final, or else Ax will probably use a shock collar on me) character, Absinthe. You can call her Sin. The only people who call her Abby are her sister and cute, elderly people. And maybe Gage, if he can get away with it. Anyway, she's a paranormal with mental control as her ability, and she's a closet alcoholic. She blames her father and her name. FINALLY. Some stabilization in my life. T_T I quit the job, and now according to my sleep tracking app on my phone, I'm getting even more sleep than I need. Haaa. That being said, I have plenty more time for you guys. :D

Hello all of you in Ascent World! I'm Hika, hailing from Atlanta and calling out to show you all your new resident circus freak!

Okay he's not from the circus but I can assure you he is the latter. Meet Ueno. Self-acclaimed recluse that will soon be opening a tattoo shop in town and has a knack for talking to the air. It's not imaginary friends, they are real and Ueno would tell you! He is a medium. One who talks to spirits of unrest and unfinished business. Calls himself a recluse but will be opening a shop you say? Hey bills have to be paid right? Right! He will argue that point. Probably any point you have at that. One thing about the multi-colored Asian is that he is an oxymoron of himself. He will say he wants to stay at home but go to a club. Hello Viv! He will say he has nothing to talk about but chat your ear off until it bleeds. In a good mood he says? Don't count on it! One thing after the other Ueno is a strange little cluck. In good company though, he will loosen up and relax. The weirdness will not go away though. :D

Ueno will be a rather large fan of vampires without a doubt. His first move was going to a certain club and meeting Vivienne. If you know Vivienne you would know what the outcome could be! {HI SNUGGLE BUNNY!}

Now that you have a little bit about Ueno, I would love to work out lines!

IM BACKKKKK! Sorry for being MIA for the week. I finally got my app in and my statement of purpose kicked some serious ass. Next month I will either be jumping for joy or bawling my eyes out depending on the outcome. ANYWAY.
